In 2008, I was inwardly directed to start a website for my ancestral temple, the Sree Vellat Puthur Shiva Temple in Perintalmanna, Kerala, India. [ click here for the history of this temple. ]
A few weeks later, I was inwardly directed once again to start ANNADANAM and DASHAMAMSHA VRATA. When I shared this with members of our japam group, many wished to join me and together we set up a fund that provided food to the priests and staff at the Sree Vellat Puthur Shiva Temple in Perintalmanna, Kerala. We are now feeding devotees of Lord Shiva and Lord Venugopalamurthy (Lord Krishna) in the countries we live in around the world. We are also feeding birds and animals and the hungry and needy people because Lord Shiva and Goddess Ambal love them all very dearly. These two sacred Hindu spiritual practices of ANNADANAM and DASHAMAMSHA VRATA have showered such amazing grace upon japam participants, in ways we couldn't even imagine, that we don’t know how to thank Lord Shiva for it!
As though all this wasn't enough blessings, a few short months later, I was drawn to Arunachala in Tiruvannamalai and the pilgrimage saw the creation of another website – ARUNACHALA GIRIVALAM
